How long does it take to transfer?

Hi,

I am currently using a "brand-name" shared cloud hosting service. I have no complaints. But it is four times more expensive than the equivalent CloudNEO services! That's a lot. I am tempted to switch, but I dread having to FTP all those files and their add-on domains. How long does it usually take?

Thanks,

.

@fkapnist it depends very much on your content. Note that you can explore CloudNEO services with a 30 days free of charge trial. You can also contact the  support team and ask this question to them.

Regards.

I have been satisfied with the FTP upload speed of CloudNEO. As an example, 100MB of very mixed sized files (but mostly small and over a 1000 files) takes between 3 and 4 minutes.

@fkapnist that seems like an average speed based on my use of other web hosts. (FTP always feels slow.) When signing up, the server I picked is in the same city as me, and won't be the same data centre that you use, and of course, there are many other variables that affect transfer speeds.

@susan @fkapnist note that CloudNEO admin panel includes a file manager. You can upload a single .zip file and uncompress it once it's uploaded.
This method is quite more quick than using FTP file by file.

I am so used to using Cyberduck with folders and individual files, that I didn't know such a thing was possible, thanks for the tip!
