It appears that merely installing the plugin locks up NeoBook. I installed the plugin and running anything in debug mode will not work. I uninstall it and everything works fine.

Very strange. it works fine for me .....
I would also like to know the opinion of users about the plugin ...

Andrei.

It works fine for me!

It might be worth noting that I'm using Neobook v5.8.7

Checked at 5.8.7. Compiles fine. Everything works. But note the encryption option when compiling, it does not compile. Check compilation settings.

Disable the option "compress and encrypt the source code of the project"

I compiled the demo pub file and it runs as a background process. I looked through all the coding and book and page properties and the only thing I see is the button action. Is there something I'm missing?

Have you tried disabling the option "compress and encrypt the source code of the project"?
In the project properties, during compilation.

I also disabled all the compress options.

Describe at what exact moment the error occurs and literally - what the computer writes.

Perhaps this will help Andrei understand the cause of the bug.

I receive no error messages, except for (Not Responding) in the title bar of NeoBook and in Task Manager when I try to run in debug mode. When I run the compiled pub, there is no visible window. It only shows up in the Task Manager as a background process.

What is your version of windows?

Windows 10

I tested only on Windows 7. Perhaps it is a matter of compatibility with the version.

I've compiled it and run it on a Windows 7 machine and it works fine.
On a Windows 10 machine, I could not get it to run in Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode. If I run the compiled program on a Windows 10 machine it has to be run as admin in order to work.
This is problematic in terms of distribution and usage.

Also, It will not allow debug mode to function while the plugin is installed, at least not on my Surface Pro.

@as3856

Any plans to update for Windows 10? This could be a really useful tool for me.

Thanks.

It all depends on my free time.
I will try to rewrite the plugin as soon as I'm a little free ......

Andrei (as3856).
