asPicture 3.0

Hello Ivanovo, hello all,

I use for my small project asPicture. Ivanovo uploaded the new 3.0 version on the plugin store, with a lot of enhancements.

But during installing I get an Error message and VisualNeo is messed up. After uninstalling the Plugin everything seems again fine.

The question is now:

Is there a bug in the Plugin, or is something wrong here with my installation?

The error message I get is the following:

"Access violation at address 0040E38 in module "VisualNeoWin.exe". Read of address 00000000

This happens when VisualNeo is starting, so when the blue logo screen with the list of plugins is visible. After clicking OK in the error message screen, VisualNeo starts but the changes of the screen layout "mouseCam, fileselector, Oject list etc" seem to be reset to the "first" installation Layout. When I go to the Install Plugins menu and I click at the asPicture plugin "about" I get the message "Privileged instruction". After uninstalling the asPicture Plugin everything seems fine again.

Hopefully it is a simple solution to solve this issue as I enjoy the asPicture plugin.

Guten abend,

Ja ich habe die version 2,0 verwendet. Un-installiert und dann die version 3 installiert. Version 2 hat gut funktioniert,

Hi Eric. I think it’s necessary to look for the reason not in the plugin. If the second version worked well, then the third version is exactly the same as the second version - it is only improved. I can advise you to delete the asPicture.loc file, Delete the plugin completely, reload VisualNeo, install the asPicture 3.0 plugin, then copy and put the asPicture.loc file into the root folder of the program.
- These are standard plugin installation steps.
Tomorrow I will test on VisualNeo (I used to test it on the NeoBook)

Hi Eric. Ich denke, es ist notwendig, den Grund nicht im Plugin zu suchen. Wenn die zweite Version gut funktioniert hat, ist die dritte Version genau dieselbe wie die zweite Version - sie wird nur verbessert. Ich kann Ihnen raten, die Datei asPicture.loc zu löschen, das Plugin vollständig zu löschen, VisualNeo neu zu laden, das Plugin für asPicture 3.0 zu installieren, die Datei asPicture.loc zu kopieren und in den Stammordner des Programms zu legen.
- Dies sind Standardinstallationsschritte für Plugins.
Morgen werde ich auf VisualNeo testen (ich habe es auf dem NeoBook getestet)

Es funktioniert jetzt, vielen Dank für die Hilfe.

Ich hab noch eine Frage:

Wenn ich meine App starte und lass sagen, dass sie eine Größe von 800x600 hat. Ich will dann das App-Fenster im Vollbildmodus anzeigen, der picture rectangle vergroßt nicht mit dem App-Fenster , der picture rectangle "Snap position" ist Center.
Mache ich etwas falsh oder ist es nicht möglich?

It works now, thanks for the help.

I have one more question:

If I start my app and let it say that it has a size of 800x600. I want to display the app window in full screen mode, the picture rectangle does not grow larger with the app window, the picture rectangle "Snap position" is Center.
Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible?

Hi Eric.
Pay attention to the asPictureFit command.
The command allows or forbids zooming-down the image (ZOOM)

asPictureCenter - The location of the image in the center or top left corner.

(I probably do not understand a little about what is going on ...)

Hello Andrei,

In you example which comes with the plugin, you have the "Maximize Button" in the "Windows Style" option disabled.
This means that the application window always will have the same size. If the "Maximize Button" is enabled, and you make the application Full Screen, the image rectangle doesn't resize, and stays the same size as before.

I would like to have the possibility to have the image rectangle becoming bigger when the application window goes to full screen.

Thanks a lot for the great Plugin, I really like the functionality.

Unfortunately, so far there is no such possibility. I will work on it.
