Disabling Internet Explorer

Computer users have been urged to disable Internet Explorer following the revelation of a flaw in how IE opens MHT files. Opening a MHT file emailed  to you by a hacker gives them access to your PC allowing them to spy on you. Point your search engine to "IE flaw MHT files".

After I disabled IE11, in VisualNeo Web using the Run Simulator still displays the IE version in the bottom left of the screen. Also, from the Help menu option, clicking Help opens two instances of https://webhelp.visualneo.com/ in my browser, and after clicking Forum my connection to https://community.visualneo.com/ times out.

I get similar problems using VisualNeo Win and am using the Brave web browser,

I am reluctant to delete IE11 because of potential problems with other programs.

Your advice would be appreciated.

Hi @bguk,
VisualNEO Web needs Internet Explorer to work properly but VisualNEO Win should work fine if you don't use the Web Browser object. The help menu just calls the default browser in your system and ask it to open the appropiate help url.
If you are concerned about this issue regarding Internet Explorer, you should change the default association of MHT files to something other than Internet Explorer.
Best regards.
