Не для всех. Громоздкий, не удобный формат. Этот формат мелкомягкие постоянно навязывали, но за столько лет так и не смогли навязать, и вот опять началось.
Преимущество CHM состоит в том, что справку можно открыть, щелкнув в окне помощника по настройке команд сразу на желаемый раздел
Преимуществ хватает в любых форматах, для этого их и придумывали. Только для кого то важны одни, для кого то другие. В любом формате есть свои плюсы, и огромные минусы. Даже в том, что из pdf не сделать chm, а из chm pdf легко.
И по секрету скажу, большинство пользователей не пользуются вордом и никогда не будут им пользоваться. Что в этом случае будем делать?
Не надо пытаться переделывать устоявшиеся привычки большинства.
