NeoDB Plugin

Hi, what can happen if you insert too many records in the .dbf database created through the NeoDB plugin? (For example, exceeding 2 GB in size).

Earthquake

- in general, the file size depends on several indicators, including the file system.

Maximum size of 1 file
=============================
- FAT32: 4 gigabytes
- NTFS: 16 terabytes

@as3856 ahahaha ok :D, ..I meant anyway if the plugin gave a warning when exceeding the size limit (even if it is rare to reach it) and\or preventing the insertion of the excess record without damaging the .dbf file

I can’t say for sure whether the plug-in gives a warning (it depends on how the author of the plug-in wrote it), but you won’t be able to record (there may be a warning, but maybe not). The .dbf file will not be corrupted.

P.S. Sorry for the joke.

Ok perfect! Thanks for the quick reply! :-)

NeoDB is very limited in some cases. That was the reason I changed to SQLite3 in NeoBook...
