NeoPDF plugin does not work or doing something wrong. Selected pdfOpen Action and pointed to the pdf document but when you run VNW get error saying that the pdf document is not found???

Well think it's because it only works on older version of adobe pdf. Will look at alberto's plug-in

David Esperalta's npPDF ?

Think Cromium there is missing the locate the pdf button only option to manually put in the path to pdf document and I tested it and nothing happens. Tried opening pdf doc into an object window and nothing happened unless I'm missing something.

@krakerman

You can open a PDF in a rectangle in your project using a third-party application. For example, Sumatra PDF works fine (https://www.sumatrapdfreader.org/downloadafter). Portable, requires no installation, can be transferred along with the project.
The attached demo opens a PDF file in a rectangle with an old but well working version of Sumatra PDF (with a smaller size) and with a new version of Sumatra PDF (but with a larger size).

I have a PDF Plugin. I will put a link for it tomorrow. So you can test your PDF. Plugin is old, but i tghink is reliable. Chromium should read it too, but it is not a specialized thing for it;

@krakerman, since all of your attempts have failed, could it be that there is an error in your path or some such?

I would check that first.    If needed, post your code snippet to the forum so others can double check.

Here is a screenshot to show you the issue with Chromium plugin that I was talking about. Even the Filename part of the "e" is cut off

Uploaded files:
  • You need to login to have access to uploads.

You have to copy and paste the path .... think missing the file requester button. But no I checked the filename and path and it was correct but for now moving on will figure something out too busy at moment.

I couldn't see your path in that screen shot, but have you tried to put a ! in front of the path just in case it's an interpretive issue?

AS a test for the path, have you tried to test it using the RUN command?

Of course run works just fine

Almost as weird as the printing issue I'm having...  prints fine from notepad, but not if you engage it from VNWin.

My examples are meant to show each command, they are not applications. I assume users make their own programs, so the examples are standardized and simple. To read the PDF on Chromium you must use the Load HTL button and enter the path of your PDF

If you wanna try

This is a old PDF Viewer plugin

I saw this action and would assume this is the action you would use load load and open pdf document. Load HTL??? Will look and examine your examples guess not as obvious as I would have thought sorry.

Please download a recent version and use a Load HTML button. In fact, it loads a resource too (like image or PDF)
