What is a Progressive Web App?
A PWA is basically a WeB App like those made with VisualNEO Web and published on a hosting service (https required) that, when visited on a mobile phone, can be saved on the user's device and thus feels and behaves much like a Native application. If Android's Chrome browser (not sure about other mobile browsers) detects that the website is a PWA, it prompts the user to save it on its device's homescreen using the icon of your Web App.
Why is it important?
It simplifies the end-user setup process and you don't need store aproval

It seems it's also possible to publish a PWA into Google Play.
Currently VisualNEO Web doesn't have any facility to aid on the transformation of a normal Web App into a Progressive Web App (although it's on our plans), but you can use a free online service like this one:
https://www.pwabuilder.com/
Please let me know if you experiment with it.
