sendmail from app silently

Has anyone mastered a technique for sending an email silently from an app build in VisualNeo Win? I was hoping to not have to use a form and an ASP page server side. If I use Internet/SendMail it asks for outgoing mail server. My clients wont know that information and this will confuse them.

Details:
I have an app that you must log into. During the Sign Up procedure I want a temporary password (that my app generates) emailed to the user where they can retrieve the temp password and choose a new one. In doing this I can validate the users email address.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You allways will need a mail server to send emails. A local one is no longer a good solution as it will be detected as spam in most cases. If you have your own domain in a hosting provider (CloudNEO for instance) you will be provided with outgoing mail server information for your email accounts. Use that information on your App code so your users don't need to know about it.
