STEREOSCOPIC 3D

Here are 25 animated (win exe) examples of "STEREOSCOPIC 3D" made with an early version of Neobook (now VisualNEO Win).

bush.exe and bush2.exe are the "proof of concept" animations to show that 3D video can soon be possible without the use of glasses or special projection devices.

Cool!

Only after closing the application does it remain hanging in the processes and music continues to play. Maybe this is only on my windows so. With all the examples like that.

Thanks. It was created with a rather old version of Neobook (1998),  Autodesk FLC,  and worked with Windows XP... I want to update the animations soon or maybe do new ones. I think perhaps member as3856 has the know-how to make a morph program or a plugin that would allow users to create their own stereo animations from left and right images...

.

Here is how I did it:

Use two disposable cameras taped together to give left and right eye images. Cameras must be parallel to the horizontal for best effects. If you morph the two images the result will probably "wobble" and not be suitable for viewing. So each image must first be deformed into a so-called "Mercator projection," and then the two can be morphed with out viewing a wobble. I did the first samples manually, but I think software can be created to do it automatically.....
