MINOR VERSION UPDATE

Free update for previous version VisualNEO Web users.

Software: VisualNEO Web
Version: 21.11.3

This is a minor version update with some important changes.
VisualNEO Web becomes a SCORM 1.2 creation tool!

Core updates:

New core commands
- - DuplicateObjectEx (same as DuplicateObject but includes CSS styling option and enhanced functionalities in duplicated objects) Thank you @christian-giebel

Updated Plugins:

FabricJs (Now it's possible to assign an object name to images imported using fabLoadFile command)

New Plugins:

neoBackgrounds (Add incredible 3d animated backgrounds to any Container. Click here for more info)
neoQr (Create QR codes easily)
neoTypeWriter (Create an animated typewriter effect. Check here)
neoScorm (Action commands to communicate with a Learning Management System "LMS" host using SCORM 1.2. Use the new tool neoScorm Packager to generate a SCORM packaged .zip file)

New Tools:

neoScorm Packager (Allows to package any VisualNEO Web compiled application into a SCORM 1.2 enabled .zip file. You can use it with neoScorm plugin to communicate with the host LMS or alone)

Updated Tools:

neoEdge (Includes last VisualNEO Win commands and the possibility to embed a remotely hosted application (use it carefully as it will allow a remote site to perform any changes in the local device))

User Interface changes:

"Run" buttons have been removed from the button bar to avoid confusion on new comers. You can still find them under the Project menu.

If I understand correctly, now with VisualNEO Web you can create your own online courses and add-ons for any online courses that support the international SCORM format! Now you can even offer other developers of online courses your add-ons, because the SCORM format is universal and supported by many platforms, including Moodle! VisualNEO Web can now be used as an editor for creating online courses! This is really, incredibly cool!!! Luis, this should be added to the VisualNEO Web description!

I want to experiment with this, but there is not enough documentation yet (no information in the help yet). What needs to be done so that the web application can be imported into an off-the-shelf online course or as a standalone online course? I will be experimenting on the Moodle platform.

@vadim yes, now VisualNEO Web is a SCORM authoring tool :)
You can find a simple sample with instructions under the Sample Apps folder. It's really easy!
I have tested it on Moodle and Scorm Cloud.

Please open a Forum topic with SCORM related questions if you have any doubts.
I will add the documentation as soon as possible... I'm allways so busy :(

Wow! There's been quite a bit of development activity around here lately. Many new plugins, so many I can't keep up. Now a new VNW release for us to play with :) It looks like some powerful and fun additions.

Dat is niet erg. De ontwikkeling gaat zo snel, het is makkelijk iets te missen. Het is normaal.

Opnieuw geïnstalleerd. Bij het compileren krijg ik de boodschap "System can't find specified path".

En wanneer ik de neoSCORM packager probeer te starten, krijg ik een foutmelding dat er geen indexbestand is gevonden.

Super cool, Luis! Thanks so much!!! You're right, the problem was the icon file!

This is a new perspective for VisualNEO Web! I was able to load the SCORM package into my Moodle!

Now you can do amazing and absolutely unique things in online courses on the Moodle platform!!!

@vadim, yes! that's it :) I think VisualNEO Web is a very unique tool and this is just another reason.
I have noticed it's necessary to edit all sample apps to avoid the "icon not found" problem. I will try to do it tomorrow.

Hello @Luis and thank you for the new version.
I really like when there are multimedia tools added to VisualNeo (web or Win).
Among other things, I like neoBackgrounds.
I wonder if it would be possible to add the possibility of compiled in video format, an animation of neoBackgrounds?
In addition, this option allows you to make beautiful videos introductions with text. By having the option to compile the animation of neoBackgrounds in video format ex; mp4 etc ... that would spice up the tool.

Multimedia functions are welcome in future versions. This helps to add creativity as creative artists.
