acToolbar plugin

Hi, I usually use this plugin and want to share with all of you.

It's a little toolbar to access some menu functions quickly.

Ideas, bugs? Please, comment them and thanks.

Tested on:

Windows 7, 10 (NeoBook and VisualNeoWin) English version only.

It's an interesting approach to make your own addition to the VisualNEO Win interface. This is curious!
At the moment, the toolbar doesn't work as I think it should (since clicking on some of the buttons just brings the File menu to the foreground).
I think it would be more convenient to use the toolbar if there were tooltips and if there was a way to change those lines (like the acToolbar.loc file). Without tooltips and without a help file it is not clear what the buttons on this additional panel should do.
Tested on Windows 7, 32.

I attach a link to a video (without sound) in which I click in sequence on the buttons to see the result.

Hi, @vadim

That's weird, but I see that your system language is not English and don't know if it is gonna work in another language. The toolbar works sending keys (A, B, P, O, etc...) to VisualNeoWin and I think this should be the problem :(. The toolbar was tested correctly and all buttons worked very well.

Let me see what I can do to find a solution, because I have never worked yet with .loc files, but I will add them tooltips.

But thanks for your time testing my plugins.

Yes, you're right! I have Russian as default language in my system. I tried to change the layout (just the keyboard layout in English), and now buttons Open, Reopen and Install plugins work. But others still do not work. I think yes, it's the language settings.

Just an idea to increase the applicability of this plugin: maybe you could make the toolbar customizable, so that the user could set his keyboard shortcuts (and even his icon) on each button of the panel. Then it would be a universal toolbar.
Or the panel could detect the language in the system and adjust to it, so that the menu works the same for different languages. That would probably be even more convenient than a .loc file.

In any case, thanks for sharing! It's an interesting approach to customizing a programming environment!

Hi, @vadim

The plugin was updated, tested with several keyboard layouts and worked very well, but NeoBook or VisualNeoWin must be english version to work properly with the menu items.

It's a great idea about the customizable toolbar, to have only the menu items that one wants. Let me see what can I do with it in my free time (because I have new plugins ideas).

Please, try again and hope to get good news. Thanks.
