Drives changed

I swapped around some drives on my puter and now when I load VNWin I get the complaint (two times) shown in the graphic. I resaved the pub that loads with it, and I checked the filelist and the tools to be sure there wasn't anything looking in drive J. But still this load error persists.

Does anyone know how I can stop this from happening?

Hello,

Did you change the compile traget entry in the pub to the new location?

Also the entrys in embedde-files?

You may also open the pub-source in a text editor to search for old drive entrys.

Really? All I did was plug different externals to different USB's. And none of the drives that VNW depends on (uses files from) have changed letter designation. And still every time I change where I plug my drives in, I need to reinstall? I wouldn't think that would be the case. My C is still my C and I have an F: drive that is still the F: drive and that is where VNW is installed to....

Well for now I'll just click through (as it works fine when I do) .... if I could figure out what the software is looking for, and not finding then I can fix the issue I'm sure.

@Vadim, not meaning to "bark" at you but I did a literal HISS while reading that LOL

Hi @hpw,

Sorry for the delay in reporting back, but ... I became a grandfather for the second time these past days. ;-)

I search for J:\ in the pub and it is not there....

Apparently there is perhaps a setting or reg setting that is looking for this drive. I only need to find it ;-0
