Thank you Hans , Compliments on this Plugin , they are all great and very useful.

getGuid

Is the UID generated RFC4122 compliant and completely seeded by time stamp data, and is there also a spatial component to the UID.

It seems to be version 4 compliant randomly seeded.

Is there prerequisite data needed in an application to properly generate an accurate GUID

Hello,

This GUID is produced by an windows API call.

So this should describe it:

And some rumors from the lab: The next VNW version will have a native "GUID" command.
