Quote from LeMachinga on June 19, 2023, 12:28 pmLet me explain my case: My game made with visualneo win has been on Steam for a year in Early Access. Yesterday I released a new version and compiled the project again to upload the full version 1.0.
The thing is that everything went well, but a user told me that when he opened the program PANDA detected the exe as a virus.
I suppose it is a false positive, but I find it curious that when I run virustotal on the executables, although I delete them and do them again, 4 of 64 antivirus say that it is a trojan.
Should I be worried, any advice to give me? Thank you very much.

Yes, of course, anti-viruses often give false positives. To reduce their number, you should not pack your executable with the UPX packer (uncheck the box in the compilation settings). It is often used to pack viruses, so it may provoke suspicions from anti-viruses.
You can also buy a certificate for your software and sign your executables. This will also reduce false positives, but will incur additional costs. I personally am not using this method yet.
I have had to write to popular anti-virus support to get them to remove my programs from the list of suspicious programs. This helps. They analyze the file and after a while the antivirus stops giving false positives for your program.

The game is called Heroes of Book & Paper and is available on Steam. In its folder it includes the .pub file and all the graphics used so you can see to see the structure and the lines of code of the buttons, opening the program with Visual Neo Win. Some of the functions are not visible as they are complicated in the .exe.
If you are interested in seeing it, or if anyone is interested in seeing the game and having a copy, let me know and I will provide you with a Steam key for the game for free.
Thank you, Ivanes82.

I really appreciate the invitation, but the game is in English, and I don't speak it :( I was intrigued to see what game you had made with neobook. it looks nice and people seem to have liked it. Congratulations.
