Mac Version??

Any chance either version of these windows or web version ever going to made to run on Mac computers.

Every programmer I know programming in other languages is all using MacBook computers to code for all platforms.

is this something that you will be doing in the future.

@no1g8tor96 due to the core technology used in both VisualNEO Win and VisualNEO Web it's not possible to compile them to run under macOS.
Anyway many users are using different virtualization methods to run both programs using a Mac computer.

I am using paralles virtual and it does not work on my new Mac.

all other windows program are working but yours. Even an old 32bit laguauage I used 5 years ago is working. Just not VN. I don’t know why.

I do have the M1 pro. But like I said. All of my old windows programs and even xojo and Livecode which are my other programming languages run perfect under parallels.

I can’t seem to find a solution

any help?

Does the compiled resulting EXE from VisualNeoWin run in your virtual mashine?

That was a great question and I got an answer. They do work. Just not the program that makes them. HMMMMM.

I have and old Intel Mac from 2019 with Parallels and VN does work on it fine. Just not the M1. weird!!!!

I am attaching a pic of one of the sample programs compiled on my PC and sent to the Mac M1 and it works.

Please let me know if you have any help to make Visual Neo run on the M1 Mac. It would be nice to be able to get rid of my PC and just use all on the Mac.

Hello,

We had reports in the past that the EXE runs on various Emulation enviroments on different platforms.

This has the reason that this programms use pure WIN32 API's. And clean WIN32 software should run.

What I guess now is that the used software protection system may have a problem with the M1 win-emulation.

Maybe Luis can contact the developers of that software to take a look at this problem.

I think @rocote was using both VisualNEO Win and VisualNEO Web on his Mac, but he has not published here in a long time.
I hope he is fine. I also remember something he published regarding this on the forum but I can't find it right now.

FIXED...

I went into the program itself and ran the "Troubleshooter" and what do you know.....It works. Im so happy to make it work so I could only use 1 computer.

BTW....I did upgrade to Parallels 18.

Hope this helps someone with a Mac that wants to run this.

Last thing....is this going to be 64 bit anytime in the future?
