Media player bluetooth distorted.

Hello, years ago I used to make publications with Neobook, now I have downloaded Visualneo, to resume some old project, I think it is an amazing software.

I have encountered a small problem: the audio player sounds distorted if I listen through a bluetooth headset or  speaker.

If I listen via the USB audio interface I can hear it perfectly, but via bluetooth the sound is choppy.

I have tried disconnecting the USB interface, trying different audio files, and different locations, but no luck.

I think it makes sense to check on different computers first to make sure it's not a hardware configuration issue.

But in any case, you can try playing the sound through another player. For example, with NeoDX plugin (SinLios) or with others:
asPlayer (Andrey Solodyankin).
zmWMP 1.0 beta (Peter Pavlov)
zmVLC 0.1b (Peter Pavlov)

Thanks! I will try both solutions.
(Update)

The problem is reproduced on another computer, with a different configuration.

The NeoDX plugin couldn't solve it, asPlayer did, now I just need to learn how to incorporate it into my own project.

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

a couple of tips:

The rendering engine of the Media Player object component is a program called mplayer2.exe

On Windows it can be accessed directly using:

mplayer2.exe [VideoFileName.ext]

If this works with your files played via Bluetooth, it means that the NeoBook/VNW media plugins don't have the technology to handle it well.

The alternative is the NeoMediaPlayer plugin, which IS the mPlayer2.exe api and works correctly in my tests.

I have done more research on the subject, I think I have found the solution.

First I had discovered that the same file in .wav format sounded fine, but its mp3 version was distorted, both with the media player and with the Neodx plugin.

With Neodx, choosing to play the file through the Default WaveOut Device makes everything sound fine, the issue happens again if we choose the Default DirectSound Device.
