My apologies

I would like to apologize for not being able to respond to all the support requests that I receive daily through this forum, but especially through WhatsApp and email. It is simply impossible for me to attend to such a high volume with requests that are often complex, or that they suppose to dedicate a lot of time to find errors or to setup the appropiate programming situation. Please, when asking for help, it is important to try to isolate the problem as much as possible in advance and facilitate all the information and files so I can reproduce and undertand the problem as soon as possible.

Questions like "Why my app is not working?" or similar ones require a premium support I can't offer even if I have done it until now many times. I'm writing this because I feel I have reached a limit regarding support requests. This is causing me family and work problems I need to fix. It's even slowing down VisualNEO development. So please excuse me if I cannot maintain the same level of support that I have been offering thus far.

Thank you very much in advance for your understanding.

Hi @luishp,

We are all with you Luis, and we are extremely grateful for all the work you do for each member. There is no way that the amount of work you do for us will affect your family or your business. I'm sure that all of us understand this problem. Please take a step back and focus on your family (the most important thing to me!) and your business. We love VisualNeo Web and VisualNeo Win very much, but I absolutely do not want this to be at the expense of your personal and professional life!

Best regards !

I can not agree more. Your family should always come first.

There are plenty of resources on the internet now that can help in answering a lot of the questioned posted for Web and lots of others forum members that are always helpful.

Regards

Andy

Thank you very much for your understanding :)
Of course I will not stop helping and offering support. It's just that I need to be more demanding in the type of questions I can answer. I can't help solve problems on specific projects because it takes me too much time to understand how they are organized. Questions should be as concrete as possible.

Thank you again!

We completely understand..  So often, you've gone beyond the level of help expected.  Take a step back, your time is valuable and the community will continue to step up when possible.

thanks!

Hello everybody!

I don't speak often at the forum level anymore, but I still read the evolution of the software thanks to the very good programmers who constantly publish new ideas and new questions.

I can feel the love of all the programmers for the VisualNeo software (Web and Win) and for Louis' team which aims to make it a success.

I think the software in question is already successful. Because these make it possible to produce the ideas that flutter in the heads of programmers who build other software from VisualNeo software.

Sometimes you have to fall when learning to fly.

How do you make it easier to help everyone?

I propose a web page which allows you to request solutions, but in a different way than by a simple question as is currently done on the forum.

So, the person asking for help should do so through an appropriate series of questions that demonstrate what the person is trying to do and how they got to the problem in question.

A simple question like LUIS say, "Why my application is not working", is not enough to answer it.

I think the person asking for help owes the flow of their work. As much before, during and after the problem occurs.

I even suggest the participation of the excellent programmers of the forum, if LOUIS wishes it of course.

Here, I launch the idea and I let you mature it.

I just hope my idea can help.

Roger :)

@luishp

Luis, you have absolutely nothing to apologize for.
Clearly, you are doing far more than is required of you by your support! And we are very grateful! I'm sorry that I can't answer all the questions when I see them on the forum (especially about VisualNEO Web). However, the knowledge of forum members is growing. And this means that with time we can help each other and new VisualNEO users better.

It should be a norm (and a good tone) that when asking a question, one should describe the tried and tested ways of solving it and attach a file with a demo project. In that file, the problem should be isolated from everything else. That is, nothing else but the problem should be in the demo-project file. This is the best way to get an answer to your question. New users may not know or understand this. This is normal. We need to just remind them of it in such cases, instead of trying to reproduce the problem from scratch.

Again, with a web page dedicated to helping troubleshoot, that would be great.

A web page accessible through the link VIsualNeo.com and which would allow those (programmers) who so wish, to offer a solution to the problem.

The page could ask the user to fully explain the problem in question.

What is the used person trying to do?
An example of his code would be an asset.
Etc ...

In addition, several solution through the right programmers could be offered. I am sure there are several ways to get a solution.

Here again, as I say, I propose but I do not dispose.

The VisualNeo team is the only one that can make such a decision.

Also, there are excellent solutions (for different type of problem) that appear in the forum, but that you have to look for everywhere. By placing them together by subject or indexed, it would be much easier to access them.

Again, this is a suggestion.
