- Please try Shadow Explorer, a free tool to find previous versions of your files
- Right click your file>Properties. Switch to previous versions tab. Is there any previous version available? Try to recover it.
- Press Windows key + R. Type rstrui in the Run prompt and hit Enter. Click on 'Next' in the System Restore dialog. Check if there are any restore points available. If there is a restore point from the date your files were okay (lets say 1 month before), you are lucky. Restoring may fix your files. Mostly, ransomware clears your restore points. Also, restoring your system to a date when your pc was infected can re-infect you with the ransomware so please don't do it.
- Please upload 2-3 non sensitive text files so that I can have a look.
