NEO Script Language

I'm considering buying VisualNeoWin but I'd have to have a complete command and language reference for the script

language, not just a variable list etc... Any idea if such a thing exists? I'm surprised the built in help doesn't include this.

Yes, I saw that but I guess it means there are no graphic commands. No way to have a canvas or a pen or brush since I'm interested

in making graphics related apps. I just didn't word it very well. I don't see a size image or save image or anything that could I could use

and I wondered if there's more to the scripting "language" but I really don't see it.

VisualNeo Win is a high-level programming environment in the NeoScript language. It is not a graphics editor. You can use any kind of GIF images and animations, as well as videos, to design the program. Some display tools are available (scaling, transparency color selection, etc.). But you have to edit graphics in programs designed for that purpose. For example, for editing graphics, SinLios offers PixelNEO, but there is a lot of choice here. No programming environment tries to become a graphics editor as well, because that would unnecessarily complicate the interface and is generally not rational.

With VisualNeo Win you can create your own graphic editor. For example, using the asPicture v3.0 plugin

If you need tutorials on VisualNeo Win apart from help, check out my online course. It's completely free, but requires registration, as I use it to work with students. Its content is in Russian, but you can translate it on the fly through your browser.

I mean there's no way to code a graphics editor in the NeoScript language. It's ok.  I don't think this program is meant for that sort of thing

but it still looks interesting. Thanks. Nice to get a good response in your forums. :)

Oh, ok. Added that in and tried the demo. It looks useful. As time permits I'll see if I can dissect how it works. Thank you.

I am thinking of using the asPicture v3.0 plugin to edit video, frame by frame, like Blender does. The back end wouldl be ffmpeg.exe .....  if time permits

The RGB dials are from the hpwImage plugin

The control knobs are actually from hpwUtility. Thanks
