NeoEdit Text entry limit

Hi..

I use NeoEdit and i like to know if there is any method to limit the data entry to a specific amount of characters.

And it would be usefull if it can show the remaining characters at the bottom of the container.

@smartmedia there is currently no such functionality sorry.
Anyway it seems to me quite interesting. I will take a look to see if it's possible to include it.

@smartmedia please install the modified attached plugin and sample app.
It should do what you need. Let me know if it works.

Hi @luishp

I want to use the neoEditInitializeMini2 editor but the neoEditOnChange not working on it, can you verify it please ?

Also in all modes (mini-mini2-full) the toolbar shows up leaving a space above in container, can you verify it ?

@smartmedia it works for me. I'm currently using neoEditInitializeMini2 and neoEditOnChange in a professional project and both work correctly.
Attached how it looks.
