npEdge or ezEdge?

DecSoft npEdge and Tropic Designs ezEdge are new VisualNeo Win (Edge browser) plugins to replace the legacy Internet Explorer WebBrowser object.

(Addendum: I forgot to mention the zmwOnTheEdge plugin that is also available.)

The old IE WebBrowser Properties Tab contains the following actions:

Before Navigate, Dowload Begin, Download Complete, and Navigate Complete.

Do the new plugins support similar actions? I could not find them. Can the free neoEdge installer offered by VisualNEO do the same thing?

Thanks.

.

@fkapnist neoEdge is not a VisualNEO Win plugin but a VisualNEO Web facility and it's based on npEdge from DecSoft.

Hi.

I recently bought ezEdge and am running with it without any problems.

The plugin comes with a good number of very useful commands and the support from its author is fantastic.

Here is a link to everything related to the plugin:

@cn_iceman

ezEdge seems to have more commands available than npEdge does. I wonder if there are similar plugins for the same purpose?

Thanks,

Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) is now being incorporated into the Bing search engine, and it will probably soon also be included in the Windows Edge browser. So there will probably be opportunities to develop new Edge plugins for that purpose.

I had tested npEdge and ezEdge plugins with a complex html / JavaScript file, based on importing and exporting variables.

Both plugins had worked fine.
