Hi you can use the "Run" command. You need to set the file path and Windows opens the file with default application.

Of course, office and pdf reader app necessary on the PC to do this.

As for Excel files, yeah, your best bet is to use "Run".

Keep in mind, both of these still need Excel and Acrobat installed. While you do have some control over PDFs, NeoBookPDF uses Acrobat as it's "engine".
