PDF Annotation Examples

I'm finally getting started with VisualNeo Web more out of necessity at the moment so I'm not all that familiar yet.

I do have a particular project I want to work on so my question is...
Does anybody have any pub samples or examples for editing or annotating PDF files?
Or for that matter, any samples dealing with PDFs in general?

Note that it's not currently possible to annotate existing PDF's
