Gerhard will most certainly be missed.

OK, before you can start a PUB did you look at button properties as I recommended ?
Steps:
- load PUB
- right click on button
- select actions
- you see 4 actions - 3 is SetVar - a temp variable values, and last is a dgPrintAt
- DO NOT CLICK ON dgPrintAT, just look in action editor if the variable values OK, seems like somewhere exists variable as 22,0 - have to be 22
- Click on dgPrintAt open a command own setup/edit window
- start PUB and check debugger to see a values of variables
At my machines - Windows 7 Ultimate / windows 10 Pro - all work without problem, so I made a new archive you can download and check.

This is a complete action - if you can move slider on the bottom of the action window, you have to see complete action as below.
dgPrintAt "1;Arial,8,Regular;;22,0;7,7;|[pubdir]logo.jpg;21,2;45,0;[Racenumber];21,2;51,9;[Horsenumber];21,2;59,3;€ [pounds];20,4;65,4;[Playername];20,4;72,8;[datelong];"
I don't know what I can say - I try in 4 different computers with Window 7 32/64, Windows 10 64, Windows 8.1 64 - no problem at all, runtime and compile version, so, maybe you doing something wrong ?
I don't have any other explanation, sorry...
If you want we can communicate via TeamViewer so I can see then what is going wrong...but I can't simplified whole process more.
So, I'm in Germany, now is 9 p.m, so we can make this way if you want...
Cheers!

Martin and I narrowed it down to the thermal printer / driver limitation. He will be obtaining a non thermal printer soon to solve the problem. It prints just fine to standard printers.
re: thinbasic, I am not a coder, but rather a graphics guy in a dev world. I could never do software without Visual Neo. And so I'm personally restricted to that which is either in the core or in a plugin that is simple to use. But I appreciate at least knowing that this option exists. Thank you.
