I guess my question is....is there a way to tell ChatGPT to make Visual Modern Plugins?  Upon using  VN WIn.  I dont like having to draw a box and not be able to see what the layout is as I'm making it and guess.  If I can't do this then this is not a tool I will be using going forward.  I knnow this has been the way i the past to make plugins, but Luis spoiled us and showed it can be done the other way.

ALso, I was going to buy the new Modern Plug in extensions to support this, but I have not seen anything that tells me that they are visual Plugins?  I am assuming all Modern Plugins are "Visual" but can you let me know if they are.  NO way to test them yet.

I'm currently working on the second iteration of the plugin framework, along with an SDK designed to make AI-assisted plugin development much easier.
This next version will also support custom panels and allow users to try commercial plugins before purchasing them.

Till now we have complete Plugin SDK help file and examples up to Delphi 10. @Luis introduced a fresh approach to develop 'VisualNeo Win' plugins. I am not making plugins with that model, nor do I know the architecture of such plugins as they are directly included into the Toolbox of VisualNeo Win. I have been using Delphi 10 source code and the Plugin SDK provided on the VisualNeo Website. Using AI and my little knowledge in Object Pascal(help me debug), I made these plugins. Hi : ) I installed the sgNeoDatabase but now when I open up VisualNeo is freezes the program when loading the plugins. I restart my PC but it keeps freezing when I start VN. Any idea why?

You need to download essentials.zip mentioned in many previous post. Download the file and extract all into the directory where  neodatabase.nbp is extracted. These files are dependencies for running the database plugin working. Check it and revert. I will load the full zip in my site today.

Thank you for your reply.  I think what your making is amazing and I’m working with it now to see what it’s does.  Very impressive.

I am a newer purchaser of VisualNeo products and came from environments where you drag n drop and see real time what your making. For me dropping in a blank square and then have to spend much time making the item look right is not good in my time.  There are too many other products I don’t have to do this with.  Luis understand this and seems to be moving this way as well.   His new plugins are great and sold me on this now to look more into programming with it.

For me and a few other programmers who have looked at this with me, seems the better product is VN Web.  If it were more visual drag n drop would make more sense since it can be deployed to different platforms and not just Windows.  But inuderstand that this Windows product has been around the longest so I guess Luis is trying to keep it alive with this upgrades.  But I don’t see this as a path to bring in many new users. Mac, phones, websites are more viable to new users.    I use another product and it can do so much more than this and can compile into EXE, DMG, HTML etc and the cost is under $100 for the complete package. But I really like the ease of this platform and Like the personal attention of the forum.

I told Luis a few weeks ago, I made a program for a Fortune 500 company with VNWeb and they are using it in one department and hopefully soon more.

Here is the thing. They are 99.9 percent Windows based but with the lockdown of computers on Domains you can’t just send an EXE file and have then install. To get around it I made it into and HTML program and it just runs in a browser.  No exe or windows picking it up as a potential threat.

if I was locked into a Windows only environment I would have lost the work. So this is important to many.

anyways thank you all for the support and keep innovating as it’s the only way to keep this alive.
