The plugin does not work

The NeoDouble plugin returns a message:

I realized that this is a message from the plugin. This plugin works well in NeoBook, but it doesn't work in VisualNeoWin. I don't see any point in contacting the author.

I don't know how in previous versions, it definitely doesn't work in the latest one. When I was doing the translation, I launched a project that required this plugin. An error popped up. I thought it necessary to inform you about this. It is possible that other plugins will not be compatible in the future. And this is sad.

There was nothing changed in the plugin interface.

So do you know the last VsualNeoWin version which worked with the plugin?

I tested only a few of my plugins with the newer versions. I had no problems so far.

No, I don't know. I haven't worked with other versions. This was discovered by chance.

I checked, in version 18.08.31 NeoDouble 1.0.6 (David Esperalta) plugin does not work.

Apparently the plugin somehow checks the version of the program and interprets its updated version incorrectly.

Hello,

I found out that with the rebranding to VisualNeoWin also the variable for the plugin interface was accidently changed to a format which does not match the SDK-description. And David Esperalta did some more checking on that return-string and get that error.

With the next update that should be fixed by returning to the string format of the SDK.

The last neobook returns "587.0" and the update will return "588.0" in the plugin call "nbInterface (6 ...)".

That might help to get that plugin working again. (no guarantee)

I got an answer.

He told me that he can not support an discontinued and really old plugin.

He offer around 60 plugins. I do not know NeoDouble but are the function not offered by other and newer plugins?

You should understand that a commercial plugin developer must sell current plugins to further offer his stuff.

I bought myself some of his plugins when I was faced with the decision "Make or Buy".

So in this case it is not possible to solve the problem from VisualNeoWin's side.
