I would like to speak about Neobook/VisualNeo WIN false virus/spyware/malware alarm anytime I want to start (F9) app to check if all works before compiling.
Also, compiling process is blocked by stupid AV programs (Trend Micro, Sophos, Avast, NOD32).
This is a big thing to me because I can't work, and my administrators (I'm not administrator ) don't want put VisualNEO/Neobook on exclude list - explanation is "This RAD is not aproved by Microsoft (sic!), use VisualStudio or any other Microsoft product ", and I , of course, don't want use VisualStudio, it's not suitable for my needs.
@luishp
What we can do to avoid false alarms in the future?
Is it possible?
Now I'm working with Neobook on VM and just distribute ready-to-run EXE file, but sometimes AV programs detect virus/spyware/malware on plug-ins I use (I always include everything in EXE, including plug-ins, fonts etc..)
So, any idea/advice will be more than welcome, runnning RAD in VM is just temporary solution.
With best regards!

Quote from Vadim on September 18, 2020, 10:07 amThere will be fewer false alarms if you sign your application, but such a developer certificate costs money.
You can also reduce the number of false positives by clearing the "Compress project EXE file with UPX" checkbox.
And in my experience, a letter to the anti-virus support service always helps. After a while, the antivirus stops responding to your program.

Unfortunately, not in my case, guys from support are morons....:-(

Quote from luishp on September 18, 2020, 11:24 amI have had some problems with false antivirus positives too. Code signing certification could help a lot. But it will work better if your company has a good reputation over time. That's one of the main reasons a do really prefer web development over desktop.
A pity.
