Hello,
Currently there are no plans to update VNW to x64.
The current version is compiled with a delphi 7 and is based on a lot of third party librarys.
This librarys are also quite aged and do not support x64.
And the resources for a complete rewrite does not exist.
So sorry.
The current motivation is to get the best out of the given source base.
The plugin developers are not limited to that system and can use the newest 32bit-delphi compiler (or other).
They only have to set it up to support the old SDK and the 32bit core.

....as it is truly an awesome program. :)
Therefore it has a userbase of people which do like it that much.
But it is not mainstream as other big development tools.
And you must recognize that we had 4 updates yet this year, where there were no updates for the last years before.

Plugins are the key to really expanding this product to what it is and what it can do.

You are right but you would be surprised to know how many professional projects has been made using VisualNEO Win :)

It seems Microsoft abandons UWP in favor of Windows 32 applications:

Very nice to know that!!! And it's quite a sensible decision. A huge number of great programs run on 32 bit , while 64 bit programs can only be installed on a co-op 64 bit operating system, and 32 bit programs work everywhere. Besides there are not so many applications which really need a 64 bit processor - these are the applications which use more than 2GB of RAM and this is a rarity. In the vast majority of cases the user will not even notice the difference. And the applications themselves (in absolute majority of cases) do not benefit from moving to 64 bit. Much has been written about this on the Internet.
