Arduino Plugin V2.0 gives you full serial communication with configurable baud rate, parity, data bits, and stop bits plus a built-in Serial Monitor for real-time debugging with timestamped Rx/Tx display and log-to-file.

Go beyond simple serial with built-in Firmata protocol support — control digital pins, read analog sensors, and drive PWM outputs directly from your VisualNEO scripts without writing a single line of Arduino code. Just upload StandardFirmata and you’re ready to go. I2C support lets you talk to hundreds of sensors and devices including temperature sensors, accelerometers, OLED displays, and real-time clocks.

Smart port detection automatically identifies connected devices by name, auto-reconnect keeps your application running if a board is unplugged and replugged, and the [LastError] variable gives you clear feedback when something goes wrong.
