EasyPy Desktop: Visual development meets the power of Python

PreviousPage 3 of 3

I agree to a point.  I have been using EasyPy Desktop and may be the best Windows Desktop Tool I have ever used.  @emmanuel-fernandez is doing an amazing job and service to developers.  BUT it still can't make Apps that run in a Browser or Cross Platform Development without tinkering.  I am still using VisualNeo Web for that and I hope Luis still continues to evolve this product as well.  Dont sleep on us Luis.  Your Product is still the best for Cross Platform Development.

Now if there is as way to take a Python program and put it in a browser then Might be game over for me.  If someone on here know how to do this then let us know.

Thanks again for making great tools for us.

I've been using VisualNeo Web since day one, and NeoBook/VisualNeoWin before that.
I use them regularly in my projects and they are outstanding tools.
The plugin ecosystem that the community has built around them over the years makes rapid development incredibly powerful — and it keeps getting better every day with new plugins being added by community developers.

EasyPyDesktop is a tool I built for myself to bring visual development to the Python ecosystem and its huge library collection.
I decided to share it here after talking to @luishp , who as always was very generous.

VisualNeoWin and VisualNeo Web are great products and Luis's dedication to them speaks for itself.

Keep building! 🚀

Some web hosts do allow you to upload Python apps to their servers so it can run in a browser...

maybe @emmanuel-fernandez can make a plugin to help authors upload his Python-generated apps to a server....  I haven't tried to yet...

Very Sad day.  Looks like EMO decided to stop working on this and its too bad as its amazing.  Its still a very great tool and he updated it very quickly to a great product.  I will continue to use it for so me windows apps.

I still use VisualNEO Web as my goto by far and with AI help is really the best ALL around Programming Tool.

Just wanted to to Ask Luis if you are still going to be supporting and updating VN as you have been.  I am getting ready to make an app and want to know it will be able to be supported and evolve in the future with VN.

Also one last request.  Is there a better way you can activate this...lol.  I just got a new PC and Mac and will email you soon for keys.  If there was a way we could put in our email and maybe a code and it emailed us an activation code would be awesome.  Thanks so much Luis for making this programming tool for us.

It's a real shame that the EasyPyDesktop project has been discontinued. But it's functional, and it can be expanded with plugins and the use of AI.

Who knows, maybe Emo will take some time to give us some useful implementations someday. Even if it comes at an additional cost.

In any case, I'm grateful to be able to use such a versatile and easy-to-use tool.
